What's New For 2025?

2025 Subaru Ascent SUVs offer a wide range of refreshing features, including a new Bronze Edition trim with bronze-colored accents, Onyx Edition Touring that brings a dark aesthetic to a soothing package, and feature-packaged Premium trim that becomes the new entry-level model. Plus, the Subaru Ascent now comes with standard Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Auto Emergency Steering.

Design

When it comes to versatility, the Subaru Ascent exceeds expectations with a spacious three-row setup that seats up to eight passengers, a maximum cargo capacity of up to 75.6 cubic feet, and 189 cupholders throughout the interior. In addition, shoppers can explore available upholstery options like water-repellent StarTex® or soothing Nappa leather, with available heated and ventilated front seats. As a bonus, the Ascent is available with a panoramic power moonroof or power rear gate with automatic close to help provide added convenience and comfort on family excursions.

Performance and Capability

Subaru Ascent models come with a powerful 2.4-liter Turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine that cranks out 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Paired with a high-torque Lineartronic® CVT (continuously variable transmission), the Ascent is ready to provide up to 5,000 pounds of towing capacity. Plus, all models come with standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-MODE® with Hill Descent Control, allowing you to take control of your off-road excursions.

Safety and Technology

When it comes to safety, the Subaru Ascent features a standard EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology suite, including Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Automatic Emergency Steering.
