Subaru Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles at Liberty Subaru

Every Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle must meet Subaru's certification requirements and pass a 152-point inspection covering safety, mechanical operation, and vehicle condition. Items that do not meet Subaru's standards must be repaired or replaced before certification.

Factory-Backed Powertrain Coverage

Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicles include a factory-backed powertrain vehicle service agreement with a $0 deductible for covered repairs. Coverage ends seven years from the vehicle's original warranty start date or when the odometer reaches 100,000 total miles, whichever comes first.

The seven-year period is measured from the vehicle's original in-service date, when its original new-vehicle warranty began. Certification and your Certified Pre-Owned purchase do not restart the time period or mileage allowance. Remaining coverage depends on the vehicle's original warranty start date and current mileage.

For example, a vehicle purchased Certified Pre-Owned exactly three years after its original warranty start date with 30,000 miles would have up to four years or 70,000 additional miles of powertrain coverage remaining, whichever comes first.

Ask our team to review the original warranty start date, coverage expiration date, current mileage, and remaining coverage for the specific vehicle you are considering. Coverage applies to covered powertrain components and is subject to the agreement's terms, conditions, and exclusions.

Optional Additional Protection

For protection beyond the included powertrain coverage, optional Subaru Added Security coverage may be purchased at an additional cost. Ask our team about available plans, covered components, deductibles, exclusions, and the applicable start and expiration dates and mileage limits.

Additional Certified Pre-Owned Benefits

Subaru Certified Pre-Owned benefits also include a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report, 24/7 roadside assistance, and a $500 Owner Loyalty Coupon toward a qualifying future new Subaru purchase, subject to program terms. Special financing may be available to qualified buyers on eligible vehicles, subject to credit approval and current program requirements.

The Liberty Subaru Experience

Our Certified Pre-Owned vehicle prices include the cost of certification. During reconditioning, we inspect components such as tires and brakes and address items that do not meet the applicable standards.

Our commitment continues after your purchase. Liberty Subaru offers Subaru Express Service, Genuine Subaru Parts, and service performed by Subaru-trained technicians. Complimentary service loaner vehicles are available by appointment and subject to availability.

Our service department is open until 6 p.m. on weekdays, with extended hours until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays. On Saturdays, our main service department is open until 3 p.m., and our Subaru Express Service Center is open until 5 p.m.
