In order for a Subaru to become a "Subaru Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle, it must meet strict guidelines set forth by the manufacturer. For example, each CPO candidate must pass a rigorous 152 point inspection, which includes not only safety & mechanical checks, but cosmetics as well.
Once the vehicle becomes a Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, it gets a 7 year, 100,000 mile power-train warranty from the manufacturer, which includes mechanical breakdown coverage. In addition, you have the option to extend the Comprehensive warranty to 7 years/100,000 miles as well. It is also eligible for special rate financing through Subaru.
